On the successful basis of the 1 st China International RadTech Expo (IRTE 2005) in Shanghai, China, the 2 nd RadTech Expo (IRTE 2006) will be held in Guangzhou, China during the first ten-day period of November 2006.

Radiation is considered as “green sustainable ”technology with low or zero-emission of VOC (Volatile Organic Content) and with high efficiency in China.

In recent years the continuing fast growth of China's economy (e.g. GDP growth of 9.5 in 2004) has accompanied the urgent requirement for radiation curing has become a non-negligible component of international market.

In fact, according to incomplete statistics, in 2004 the domestic production volume of UV curing raw materials (reactive diluents, oligomers and photoinitiators) reached 53000t with increment of 11.8% over the previous year, while UV curing products (coatings, inks and adhesives) in 2004 were 32000t with increment of 27.4%. The output of UV light sources and curing machines in 2004 over 2003 were markedly increased.
