RadTech China: Chinese Association for Radiation Curing
RadTech China, a non-government and non-profit organization is the nationwide association of radiation curing community to dedicate to the academic, educational, technical and industrial advancement for the radiation curing technology, in particular for the ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) processing, in China. A great progress has been made in the use and development of radiation curing throughout the country since the foundation of RadTech China was in 1993. In recent years the annual consumption of radiation curing materials such as coating, ink, adhesives and others has been growing by more than 25%. At the present there are about 200 members in RadTech China, almost covering main enterprises, institutions and universities over all parts of the country. So the association is becoming a bridge between government and business community and a link between industrial community and academic circle in the areas of radiation curing. With China's further reform and opening to outside world, there will be imperative market demands for radiation curing technology in the future.
RadTech China is also an important member of RadTech Asia Organization, which was initiated by both RadTech Japan and RadTech China in 1995 and officially set up in 1997 to strive to make a promotion of enlightenment and education for further development and enlargement in utilizing radiation technologies at each country through the RadTech Asia. Recently RadTech China has sponsored RadTech Asia 2001 (the 8th International Conference on Radiation Curing and RadTech Asia Expo 2001), which was successfully held in Kunming, China from May 15-19 this year.
